Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our AVL equipment inventory, manage warehouse operations, and ensure seamless logistics support for our production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with technical equipment, and a passion for the live event industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all AVL equipment including audio gear, video equipment, lighting fixtures, rigging hardware, and accessories
- Implement and oversee inventory control systems and procedures
- Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits
- Manage equipment procurement, receiving, and vendor relationships
- Coordinate equipment maintenance schedules and repair tracking
Warehouse Operations
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems for maximum efficiency
- Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive electronic equipment
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Oversee equipment preparation for outgoing events and productions
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Create work schedules and manage staffing levels based on production demands
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Coordinate with production managers and technical teams on equipment requirements
Quality Control & Safety
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Ensure all equipment meets quality standards before deployment
- Maintain proper documentation for equipment certifications and inspections
- Manage hazardous materials handling and disposal procedures
Technology & Systems
- Utilize warehouse management systems and inventory software
- Generate reports on inventory levels, equipment utilization, and operational metrics
- Coordinate with Director of Operations on system improvements and integrations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in entertainment, AVL, or technical equipment industry
- Must possess valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not required
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the live event, entertainment, or AVL production industry
- Familiarity with professional audio, video, and lighting equipment
- Experience with rigging and heavy equipment handling
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Lean or Six Sigma certification
- Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable working in warehouse environment with varying temperatures
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
- Capable of working in elevated positions when necessary

- Full-time position with occasional evening and weekend work during peak event seasons
- Flexibility required to support production schedules and client demands
- On-call availability for emergency situations
