Warehouse Officer F&B

The Warehouse Officer F&B is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of food and beverage products. The role ensures proper inventory control, maintains hygiene and safety standards, and supports smooth warehouse operations in line with company policies and food safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures that the warehouse is kept neat and tidy.

• FIFO process is used when products are leaving the warehouse.

• Coordinate with the Operations Manager and Purchasing In-charge to ensure that the ordering is done efficiently.

• Provide up to date reports to Operations Manager and Purchasing in-charge about stock-in hand and update in the inventory system.

• Keep a log of Products that are near expiry to ensure that the products are utilized in Barns Café.

• Ensure that there are no pests in the warehouse and always keep the warehouse clean.

• Managing floor space as per the requirements and no stock should be lying on the floor of the warehouse.

• Ensuring accurate dispatch of products to the barns cafe branches and keep track of the records of transfers from the warehouse to the cafe branches.

• Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company's procedures and requirements.

• Follow safe working conditions training provided by the company during daily work tasks to ensure safety at the warehouse level.

• Ensure accurate receiving of deliveries into the warehouse from the suppliers using the checklists and purchase orders issued by the Purchasing In-charge.

• Notify the purchasing in-charge immediately in case of missing items or unacceptable quality products noticed during the receiving.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in warehouse operations in F&B or hospitality
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP preferred)
  • Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP, FIFO, FEFO)
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inventory systems)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
