Overview
We are seeking a hands on Warehouse Operations Manager to lead day to day warehouse operations, customer order fulfillment, and logistics strategy. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, developing warehouse associates, and ensuring a scalable operation that supports company growth while delivering first class service to internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Associate Development

Lead daily warehouse floor operations and maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment

Train, coach, and develop warehouse associates through one on one meetings and performance reviews

Deliver associate orientation and ongoing training

Direct daily activities to meet site and customer requirements

Ensure associates have proper tools and equipment and that equipment is routinely inspected and maintained

Foster a positive, accountable culture focused on safety, teamwork, and performance
Operational Planning and Workforce Management

Plan and adjust daily workload and staffing to minimize unplanned overtime
-
Oversee daily, weekly, and shift level scheduling and volume forecasting
-
Manage equipment maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations
-
Support manpower planning, workflow prioritization, and space utilization
Human Resources and Performance Management

Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and identifying labor needs
-
Communicate, apply, and enforce company policies including safety, operational, and regulatory standards

Monitor productivity and quality standards and implement corrective actions when needed

Support turnover management initiatives consistent with site objectives
Process Improvement

Lead initiatives to improve productivity while maintaining a strong focus on safety

Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements

Collaborate with other sites to share best practices and operational improvements

Participate in workshops, action plans, and continuous improvement projects
Communication and Customer Interaction

Conduct pre shift meetings and ensure effective shift handoffs

Communicate work expectations clearly using standard operating procedures

Maintain professional relationships with customers, drivers, vendors, and internal departments
Reporting and Metrics

Track key performance indicators and operational metrics

Ensure inventory accuracy through proper receiving, picking, shipping, and inventory management

Execute daily customer and vendor contract requirements

Support audits, reporting, and documentation requirements
Physical Requirements
