The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfilment. This role ensures that warehouse activities are performed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Warehouse Specialist works closely with the Warehouse Manager and other team members to maintain a smooth and efficient warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
1. Receiving and Storage

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

Unload, unpack, and verify contents against purchase orders and packing lists.

Properly label and store received materials in designated warehouse locations.

Maintain accurate records of received goods and update inventory management systems.
2. Inventory Management

Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.

Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.

Ensure proper storage and organization of materials to facilitate easy access and retrieval.

Assist in managing inventory turnover and minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
3. Order Fulfilment

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements and company standards.

Verify accuracy of picked items and ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.

Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.

Update order status in the inventory management system and generate shipping labels and documentation.
4. Warehouse Organization and Maintenance

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Ensure that all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.

Assist in organizing and labeling warehouse shelves, bins, and racks.

Perform regular inspections of warehouse areas to identify and address safety hazards.
5. Data Entry and Documentation

Accurately enter data into warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.

Maintain and update inventory records, including received goods, stock levels, and order fulfillment.

Generate and maintain reports related to warehouse activities, inventory levels, and order status.

Ensure proper documentation and filing of all warehouse-related records.
6. Quality Control

Conduct quality control checks on received goods and outgoing orders to ensure compliance with company standards.

Identify and report any damaged or defective items to the Warehouse Manager.

Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures and best practices.

Participate in regular training sessions on quality control and inventory management.
7. Customer Service

Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders and delivery requirements.

Address customer inquiries and concerns related to warehouse operations and order fulfillment.

Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to meet customer expectations and resolve any issues.

Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers to ensure high levels of service.
Qualifications

Educational Background
-
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Warehouse Logistics Professional (CWLP)) are a plus.

Professional Experience
-
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related field.
-
Experience in the microelectronics or electronics manufacturing industry is preferred.

Proven track record of supporting warehouse operations and achieving efficiency improvements
