Position Summary:
Experienced warehousing and supply chain professional with proven expertise in supporting end-to-end warehouse operations, process optimization, and resource management. Adept at enhancing operational efficiency through data-driven analytics, process improvements, and strict adherence to SOPs and contractual service standards.
Demonstrated ability to oversee receiving, storage, issuance, and delivery functions while ensuring accurate material handling and inventory control. Skilled in resolving material discrepancies through cross-functional coordination and optimizing warehouse space for effective staging and kitting operations.
Committed to team development and operational excellence, with hands-on experience in training warehouse personnel and utilizing SAP MM to ensure seamless warehouse management and reporting.
Main duties & responsibilities:

Responsible for safe and efficient management of all warehousing and logistics activities pertaining to materials handling, storage and disposal and management of the warehouse resources including general supervision and management of the third party provided equipment and services

Handle special projects assigned by the team lead. Actively develop and maintain closer collaboration with other department members in/outside of SCM/Procurement based on the area of expertise

Control and supervise the main logistics-related activities like Inbound and outbound delivery; Storage; distribution and WH infrastructure maintenance and development.

Monitor the routine operation of central warehouse by ensuring that it is fully equipped, capable and functional in its layout and storage capacity to adequately support the material needs of MariEnergies

Prepare loading/offloading plans to ensure accomplishment of all kinds of load lifting operation safely, by keeping track of orders placed, due date and delivery or consignment.

Plan the receipt of incoming shipments and Quality Control (QC) inspections with an appropriate ERP (SAP) transaction in a timely manner. Communicate & identify delays, causes of lost/damages and ensure of documents pertaining to validity of warranty, MSDS record, and closure of non-conformance

Implement and monitor performance metrics for shipping and returning materials to support shipping of materials from one site to other, to vendor or repair facilities.

Designing Check and balance system of inventory in warehouse by continuously monitoring every PO during receiving and inspection of material, coding and allocation of bin locations and after issuance of material checking balance quantity of material physical verses/SAP quantity. Take prompt action if there is any discrepancy

Supervise and monitor all transactions are accurately reconciled as per required functionality in SAP system in accordance with its physical status. Ensure parts returned from sites/projects are fully accounted, checked and returned to warehouse within agreed timeframe and to ensure safe stacking of materials in designated OCTG yard.

Establishing and maintaining inventory control/cycle count to keep inventory up to date and accurate at all times throughout the year to cope with the prescheduled audit (internal or external) by resolving/reconciling stock discrepancies and recommends processes to avoid recurrences.

Plan, develop, implement and maintain warehouse health and safety to ensure strict compliance of HSE standards and procedures for preventing mishaps and hazards. Ensure stacking of hazardous materials as per their compatibility and MSDS instruction to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff and visitors and to promote safety culture and to strive for an accident free workplace

Direct warehousing related administrative services such as signage, cleaning, installations, maintenance, repair, safety inspections, parking, and housekeeping. Ensure planned inspection of warehouse, yards, chemical sheds, and cold rooms; prepare reports, statistics related to the warehouse operations area of responsibility, and operations

Continuously monitoring efficiency of material handling equipment by monitoring their maintenance plan and updating check list to ensure their timely availability

Oversee warehouse security through continuous monitoring, frequent review of physical security measures, and recommends modifications to the program as required

Monitor all operations in the ERP (SAP) to ensure correct entry of each transaction, shipment and handling of materials by coordinating with branch manager for all matters/bugs required solution with IT/IS or end user

Coordinates with user and other stakeholder departments for all warehousing related matters

Manage internal and external inventory, IMS and HSE audits and implements their recommendations

Pro-actively propose to line management process/service improvement initiatives and participate in continuous improvement projects (IT/non-IT)
Required Competencies & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or Business Administration.

7–10 years of experience in warehouse supervision/in-charge roles within materials, logistics, and warehouse management.

Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in the upstream Oil & Gas sector.

Strong knowledge of warehouse management best practices, KPIs, procurement, and inventory management principles.

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Maximo, or similar warehouse management systems.
