Warehouse Specialist- Push

POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for organizing & supervising incoming seeds receipt from domestic production, overseas (import). Receiving seeds / non-seeds from shop floor after order processes like conditioning, treatment, packing, Managing, tracking the physical inventory at plant to support on- time delivery. Coordinate in executing warehouse activities, communication with internal and external stake holders. Planning daily shipments and manpower allocation in shifts

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Confirming incoming material & to ensure proper receipt in terms of quality, quantity, batch and data entry in the SAP system.
• Planning on storage of material (seeds/non-Seeds) in the warehouse in accordance with storage capacity and locations.
• Execute shipping orders –for both Stock Transfers and Direct shipments,
• Create transfer order from OPO and issue materials to processes.
• Daily monitoring of cold storage parameters (Internal & External)
• Receiving of final goods in dispatch location based on OPO confirmation,
• Monthly inventory validation & report generation.
• Quarterly Physical verification of available stock Vs issued & report sharing to finance.
• Providing Goods Receipt information to sampling team for sampling process.
• Attending Tier2 meetings, maintaining 5S and onePSS initiatives.
• Responsible for WH, Shipment & Lab weekly, monthly reports.
• Responsible for inspection of inward non-seeds material.
• Disposal of JUNK/Write off seeds following statutory compliance.
• Maintenance of stock registers as a part of statutory compliance
• GR/GI of inward material within Lead time.
• Sample dispatches to destinations and coordinating with EXIM team for Phyto processes.
• Physical Appearance, Physical Purity, Thousand Seed Weight tests to be conducted at different stages for all the batches
• Responsible for functional incident controller, health champion and ISO documentation.
• Maintaining SOP’s & WIS as per QMS
• Monitoring third party activities.

• Communication skills both verbal and written required
• Natural interest for information systems and processes & SAP system
• Ability to self-motivate and maintain a positive attitude, with the desire to be an integral contributor to the completion of organizational goals
• Required Skills / Experience:
• Post-Graduate or Graduate degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in Warehouse Management, Inventory Management and Logistics.
