Waterproofing Engineer – 1

Technical & Design

• Review waterproofing details, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare and submit method statements, material submittals, and technical datasheets.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for approvals.
• Select appropriate waterproofing systems based on site conditions and design requirements.

Execution & Site Supervision

• Supervise waterproofing works for basements, roofs, terraces, wet areas, swimming pools, water tanks, and foundations.
• Monitor application of membranes, coatings, sealants, injection systems, and protection layers.
• Ensure proper surface preparation, application techniques, and curing methods.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, and finishing teams to avoid damage to waterproofing works.

Quality Control & Testing

• Implement QA/QC procedures and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct water ponding tests, flood tests, and leak inspections.
• Ensure works comply with approved standards and manufacturer recommendations.
• Identify defects and ensure timely rectification.

Materials & Coordination

• Coordinate with procurement for approved waterproofing materials.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for technical support and site guidance.
• Ensure correct storage and handling of waterproofing materials on site.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain inspection records, test reports, and approvals.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Assist in preparation of as-built drawings and handover documents.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in waterproofing works in UAE
• Hands-on experience with systems such as:
• Bituminous membranes
• Polyurethane / acrylic coatings
• Cementitious waterproofing
• HDPE / PVC membranes
• Injection grouting systems

UAE Experience 4 -6 Years in Pool
Salary AED 8 to 10 + Car + Fuel + Other benefits
