Web CMS Specialist

Summary

The Web CMS Specialist is responsible for optimizing the digital customer experience by managing web and app content through the CMS. This role oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of digital assets, from the creative request pipeline and landing page creation to daily troubleshooting and site maintenance. You will ensure all on-site placements and navigation elements align with brand guidelines, KPI priorities, and relevant EU/local accessibility standards. Additionally, the Specialist manages vendor relationships and maintains the accuracy of physical store location data across all digital platforms to ensure a seamless, compliant customer journey.

What You’ll Do

Essential Functions

  • Oversees and manages assigned project and/or departments data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements
  • Conduct data entry and data management for various department projects
  • Assist with the development of materials such as manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams, workflows, and project plans
  • Work collaboratively with campaign planning, creative, analytics team assisting digital content manager with day-to-day functions
  • Execute recurring content updates and creative asset deployments directly within the Content Management System (CMS) to maintain fresh and accurate website information.
  • Work on weekly creative request and approval process, ensuring all digital assets are delivered on time and meet technical specifications for web publishing.
  • Conduct routine weekly checks of website links, functionality, and page load performance to proactively identify and mitigate basic issues.
  • Ensure all published images, videos, and marketing materials adhere to established brand guidelines, quality standards, and file optimization requirements.
  • Maintain organized records and archives of weekly deployed content and completed maintenance tasks
  • Execute timely and accurate updates to store location information within all necessary backend Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Monitor, update, and ensure data synchronization for store listings across critical third-party platforms, including Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Waze, and more.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors and partners related to store location services and data feeds.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to store hours, addresses, or temporary closures displayed online.
  • Provide clear, concise, and routine status updates (e.g., weekly) to line manager and/or relevant stakeholders regarding project progress, milestones achieved, and outstanding needs.
  • Present work to appropriate audiences. Ensure support for those team members when roll-out new project or process.

What You’ll Need

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Requires 1–2 years of proven experience maintaining and optimizing web/app CMS platforms and driving successful outcomes for digital product feature
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with excellent follow-through skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, or related software

Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • In lieu of degree, 2+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above

Physical Job Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
