Web Developer (shopify)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Web Developer with strong hands-on experience in WordPress and Shopify to build, customize, and maintain high-performing e-commerce websites. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in developing online stores, optimizing user experience, and managing complete website functionality from design to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress and Shopify e-commerce websites.
• Design and implement responsive, user-friendly web pages.
• Customize themes, plugins, and Shopify apps according to business needs.
• Manage product listings, collections, payment gateways, and shipping integrations.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and errors.
• Ensure website security, backups, and regular updates.
• Collaborate with designers, SEO team, and marketing team for website improvements.
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and tracking tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.).

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a WordPress and Shopify Web Developer.
• Strong knowledge of WooCommerce and Shopify store management.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
• Experience in theme customization and plugin/app integration.
• Understanding of e-commerce best practices and UX/UI principles.
• Knowledge of SEO-friendly website structure.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.).
• Familiarity with Shopify Liquid templating language.
• Basic graphic editing skills (Canva, Photoshop).
• Experience with hosting, cPanel, and domain management.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce web development.
