About the Role:

We’re looking for a motivated and technically skilled Web Development Assistant to support our development team in building, maintaining, and optimizing web applications. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in web technologies who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced environment. You’ll assist with coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while collaborating closely with senior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining websites and web applications

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)

• Support backend development tasks (PHP, Python, Node.js, or similar)

• Help integrate APIs, plugins, and third-party tools

• Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization

• Maintain version control and assist with deployment processes

• Prepare technical documentation and support project workflows

• Stay updated on modern web development trends and best practices

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in web development or related technical role

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)

• Basic knowledge of backend technologies (PHP, Python, Node.js, or similar)

• Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, or similar)

• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and collaborative coding practices

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, or similar)

• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

• Familiarity with SEO principles and web performance optimization

• Knowledge of database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB)
