Role Overview
Digilatics, a USA-based digital marketing agency, is seeking a proactive and highly skilled Web Manager with 7+ years of experience to lead the web department and drive client-facing and internal website initiatives to successful outcomes. The ideal candidate is not merely a developer, but a systems-oriented leader who ensures all websites and landing pages are optimized for performance, security, scalability, and alignment with broader marketing objectives.
This role requires hands-on technical expertise, exceptional leadership, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
Candidates must be autonomous, outcome-focused, and able to operate at a senior level without constant oversight.
Non-Negotiable
- Proven experience managing high level websites within a digital marketing agency environment.
- Hands-on expertise with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace) and both front-end (HTML, CSS, JS) and back-end (PHP, Laravel, APIs) development.
- Ability to lead and manage a web team, set priorities, enforce quality standards, and deliver multiple concurrent projects on time.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI, CRO, website speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO best practices.
- Clear, professional English communication, both written and verbal
- Autonomous, proactive, and accountable; able to identify problems, propose solutions, and execute without requiring constant supervision.
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the web team to ensure accountability, timely delivery, and high-quality output.
- Set clear goals, assign tasks, and provide actionable feedback to maintain consistent workflows and best practices.
- Train team members on internal standards, processes, and new tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Website & Project Management
- Plan, execute, and oversee website projects, including new builds, redesigns, migrations, and high converting landing pages.
- Ensure all projects meet functional, design, performance, and usability standards.
- Manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and communicate progress or roadblocks clearly to stakeholders.
Optimization & Technical Oversight
- Conduct regular audits of client and internal websites to identify performance, SEO, security, and UX issues.
- Lead CRO initiatives using heatmaps, session recordings, and A/B testing.
- Collaborate with Ads, SEO, and Content teams to optimize landing pages for conversions.
- Maintain and improve internal web processes, templates, and frameworks for repeatable efficiency.
Hands-On Development & Systems Management
- Develop and maintain websites across CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, etc.).
- Oversee front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks) and back-end development (PHP, Laravel, APIs).
- Ensure websites are fast, responsive, secure, and fully integrated with marketing systems and CRMs.
- Implement version control, deployment, and monitoring standards (Git, GitHub, AWS, WPEngine, etc.).
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the technical lead for client-facing projects, providing clear recommendations and updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams and department leads to align web deliverables with broader marketing strategies.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and communicate solutions clearly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years in website development and management.
- Proven experience managing web teams and delivering multiple concurrent client projects.
- Deep proficiency with CMS platforms, front-end and back-end development, APIs, and hosting server management, and deployment platforms.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI, SEO, CRO, performance optimization, and responsive design.
- Experience with heatmapping, session recording, analytics tools (GA4, GTM, Hotjar, etc.).
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, advanced scripting, relational databases, and API integrations.
- Experience building internal web frameworks, or dashboards.
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Proactive, autonomous, and deadline-driven; takes ownership of projects end-to-end.
Bonus Skills
- US agency experience or working with US-based clients.
- Hands-on with A/B testing, CRO tools, BI dashboards, and marketing data pipelines.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (ClickUp, Trello, Asana).
