Job description for Webmaster

The Webmaster for TK Group websites & Online stores is responsible for the ongoing functionality, security, technical updates, and optimization of the e-commerce portals and related digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

· Ensure timely & regular updating of the website content including tournaments, matches, tickets, pricing, bookings, images, blogs/news etc.

· Troubleshoot and resolve website errors & content irregularities. Ensure adequate actions are taken proactively so as to ensure minimal down times.

· Coordinate with the Marketing/SEO/SEM teams for activating marketing collaterals like landing pages, posters, banners, native content etc. on the website.

· Ensure compliance with regulations including data protection, privacy laws, and consumer protection standards for online retail.

· Coordinate with the Technical & Dev Ops teams for the implementation of the appropriate website security protocols such as firewalls, encryption, and secure login to protect user data and transactions.

· Provide appropriate design improvement feedback to the technical team for the creation of visually appealing, functional, and user-friendly pages with a focus on conversion and customer experience.

· Monitor and analyze site traffic, conversions, and other ecommerce-specific performance metrics with analytics tools, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements and Skills

· Proven experience as a webmaster, preferably for ecommerce sites.

· Proficiency in ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, WordPress, React, etc.), & working knowledge of Html, CSS, Java etc.

· Working knowledge of website management tools, content management systems, web analytics, and SEO practices.

· Familiarity with online marketing tactics and tools relevant to ecommerce sales.

· Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Good collaboration, communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset.

· Good skills in spoken & written English.

· Degree or above from a recognized University, preferably in computer applications/engineering.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
