Wedding Planner

• Meeting with couples to work through the details of their wedding
• Finding and negotiating with vendors for various services
• Managing the wedding budget and ensuring payments are made on time
• Developing an itinerary and planning the logistics of the wedding events
• Communicating with vendors, staff members and the wedding party
• Anticipating and solving issues that arise before and during wedding activities
• Supervising and assisting with wedding day activities
• Listening attentively to customer requests and keeping records of these requests
• Managing and budgeting customer finances
• Selecting an appropriate venue suitable for the type of event
• Having good knowledge of geographic locations and their main attractions
• Organizing audiovisual equipment in advance
• Coordinating hotels, transportation and food
• Attending and monitoring activities to ensure client satisfaction
• Reviewing bills and approving payments
