Duties

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for weddings and events
• Develop comprehensive event plans, timelines, and checklists to ensure smooth execution
• Negotiate contracts with vendors such as caterers, florists, entertainment providers, and venue managers
• Coordinate all aspects of event setup, including catering arrangements, décor, entertainment, and guest accommodations
• Manage event marketing efforts to promote services and attract new clients through social media, networking, and partnerships
• Upsell additional services or upgrades to enhance client experiences and increase revenue opportunities
• Oversee on-site event management to ensure timely delivery of services, guest satisfaction, and problem resolution
• Maintain detailed records of contracts, budgets, vendor contacts, and client preferences for future reference
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere

Experience

• Proven experience in event planning or hospitality roles such as banquet management, restaurant service, hotel operations or fundraising events
• Strong negotiation skills with vendors and clients to secure favorable terms and build lasting relationships
• Excellent marketing abilities to promote services effectively across multiple channels
• Demonstrated success in upselling additional services or packages to maximize revenue
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in budgeting, contracts management, catering coordination, and event logistics planning
• Outstanding communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, venues, and team members effectively
• Experience working in banquet settings or with large-scale events is highly desirable
