Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Welder position in Marion. Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG and/or stick welding in accordance with AWS D1.1 structural welding code standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Set up welding equipment and select proper materials, techniques, and tools for the job.
Ensure strong, precise, and visually acceptable welds on a variety of metal components.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of completed welds for quality assurance.
Maintain equipment, tools, and a clean work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet production schedules and quality goals.
Follow all company safety protocols and contribute to a culture of workplace safety.
Complete accurate documentation of weld procedures and inspection reports as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current AWS D1.1 Certification required.
Proven experience in structural welding (MIG, stick, or flux-core) in a production or fabrication environment.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
Strong understanding of weld quality and inspection criteria.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
Excellent teamwork, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Willingness to work swing shift and occasional overtime as production demands.
