WooCommerce Developer

Job Overview:

We are urgently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented WooCommerce Developer with a minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate must be able to independently manage end-to-end WooCommerce projects, including customisations, optimisations, and eCommerce solution integrations.

This role requires strong technical expertise, accountability, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Work Structure & Timings:

• Male Candidates (Preferred Onsite):

- Required to work onsite (Upper Mall, Lahore)
- Must be available for evening/night shift (starting from 7:00 PM onwards, aligned with US time zones)

• Female Candidates (Remote Option Available):

- May work remotely
- Flexible working hours, provided tasks are delivered within agreed deadlines and quality standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WooCommerce-based websites
• Build custom themes and plugins aligned with business requirements
• Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping systems
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Implement SEO best practices and optimize site structure
• Manage website security, updates, and backups
• Collaborate with internal teams including design and marketing
• Handle migrations, upgrades, and version control

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–3 years of proven WooCommerce development experience
• Strong command of WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, MySQL
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience in custom plugin and theme development
• Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Strong understanding of performance optimisation techniques
• Experience using Git or other version control systems
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with international clients (US markets)
• Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
• Understanding of technical and on-page SEO
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles
• Knowledge of WordPress/WooCommerce security best practices

Compensation:

• Salary will be determined based on working hours, experience, and skillset
• Final compensation will be discussed and agreed upon during the final interview stage

• Work Monitoring:

The candidate’s screen activity will be monitored during working hours to ensure productivity and compliance with company standards

• Confidentiality Agreement (NDA):

The selected candidate will be required to sign a legally binding Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Any breach of confidentiality will result in strict legal action as per applicable laws
