CNC Machinist

Based in Croydon, Surrey, Price Kitchens are a long established local company. We design, manufacture and supply kitchen furniture to the contract and retail markets within the South East corner.

We require an experienced Machinist to, mainly, set and operate our CNC machines. This will be a varied role, operating CNC Beam Saws, Machining Centres and Edgebanders.

This is a full time, permanent position, with the opportunity to progress

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience of operating and running Homag CNC Machines, within a panel processing environment, would be an advantage.
• Ideally a Forklift licence holder preferred.
• Working accurately and methodically.
• The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team.
• Adhering to Safe working practices
• Physically fit, punctual time keeping, and have a good work ethic

Responsibilities & Duties

• To accept instructions from the factory manager.
• To monitor performance of machines ensuring work pieces are correctly produced
• Batch runs & bespoke productions
• Prioritising workload
• Keeping workplace clean and tidy

Working Hours

Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm 1/2hr Lunch Break

Overtime - Available subject to workload and customer requirements
Holidays

4 Weeks PA Plus bank holidays

The company closes over Christmas & New Year and the applicant will be required to reserve the appropriate number of days from the holiday allowance
