WordPress Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in modern WordPress development practices, experienced in cloud-based environments, and capable of handling complex technical challenges. This role requires strong technical skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress applications, plugins, and themes.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
• Manage application deployments using Docker and CI/CD pipelines (in collaboration with the DevOps team).
• Conduct advanced debugging, including troubleshooting on Azure resources (App Service, VMs, API Management, etc.).
• Work with REST APIs, Composer, and modern PHP development workflows.
• Provide technical guidance and support to developers within the WordPress team.
• Ensure performance optimization, security, and scalability in WordPress applications.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress (themes, plugins, custom development).
• Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and REST API integration.
• Experience with Docker and working in environments that leverage CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Composer and modern PHP development practices.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
• Proven experience in debugging complex application issues across both code and infrastructure.
• Strong collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of performance optimization, security best practices, and scalability in WordPress.
