WordPress Developer (Remote – Open to All Locations)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer (3–5 years experience) to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, delivering visually appealing, high-performing, and responsive web solutions. You will collaborate with designers, account managers, and developers to transform client requirements into engaging digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites for various client projects.
• Convert creative concepts and client briefs into functional, user-friendly websites.
• Build and modify custom themes and plugins as required.
• Ensure websites are responsive, secure, and optimized for speed and SEO.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Manage regular website updates, backups, and security protocols.
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and e-commerce functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver creative technical solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest WordPress and web development trends.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Strong expertise in WordPress CMS, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi) and custom theme/plugin development.
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices, site performance, and security optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in client communication and requirement gathering.
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Prior work with multilingual, e-commerce, or large-scale websites.
