Introduction to the Team:

The People Technology Team at Expedia is seeking a Workday Engineer II specializing in Recruiting to support Expedia Group brands. In this role, you will configure and maintain Workday Recruiting processes and integrations, ensuring a seamless candidate and recruiter experience across global operations. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with Workday best practices.

In this role, you will:

• Configure and maintain Workday Recruiting processes to support global hiring needs.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and technical teams to translate business requirements into Workday solutions.

• Support recruiting-related integrations and troubleshoot issues with vendors and internal teams.

• Develop and maintain documentation, including runbooks and process guides.

• Participate in testing and deployment of Recruiting enhancements and fixes.

Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working with Workday, with a strong focus on Recruiting configuration and support.

• Hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and implementing Recruiting functionality in Workday.

• Knowledge of Job Requisitions, Offer Processes, Candidate Management, Recruiting Business Processes, and related security.

• Ability to create and maintain Recruiting-related reports and dashboards.

• Familiarity with EIBs and basic integration concepts for Recruiting workflows.

• Understanding of Recruiting security roles and compliance requirements.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Workday Pro certification in Recruiting.

• Experience with advanced Recruiting features such as Candidate Pools, Agency Management, and Offer Templates.

• Familiarity with Recruiting integrations (e.g., LinkedIn, Greenhouse, background check vendors).

• Exposure to Core HCM, Onboarding and Talent modules for end-to-end hiring workflows.

• Ability to optimize recruiting processes for high-volume hiring and global scalability.
