Workflow Automation Engineer (n8n / Make / API Integrations)

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Workflow Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain advanced automation systems that streamline business operations and integrate multiple platforms.

In this role, you will architect and implement end-to-end automation workflows using platforms such as n8n, Make (Integromat), and other integration tools, connecting APIs, databases, AI services, and third-party applications.

You will work on complex automation projects involving CRM systems, eCommerce platforms, marketing tools, data pipelines, and AI-powered workflows, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex integration challenges, building scalable automation architectures, and optimizing operational processes through technology.

Key Responsibilities

Workflow Automation Development

• Design and implement complex workflow automations using platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar tools
• Build scalable automation systems connecting multiple SaaS platforms and APIs
• Develop workflows for CRM, marketing, eCommerce, data processing, and operational tasks
• Create event-driven and scheduled automation workflows

API & Integration Development

• Integrate third-party systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and SDKs
• Build custom API connectors and middleware
• Handle authentication methods such as OAuth, API keys, and JWT tokens
• Ensure reliable data synchronization across multiple platforms

Data Processing & Automation Logic

• Design workflows for data transformation, enrichment, and validation
• Handle conditional logic, branching, and complex workflow scenarios
• Process large datasets efficiently using automation tools and scripts
• Implement error handling, logging, and retry mechanisms

AI & Intelligent Automation

• Integrate AI services and LLMs into automation workflows
• Build systems that automate content generation, data analysis, and decision workflows
• Work with AI APIs for tasks such as text generation, image generation, or document processing

System Architecture & Optimization

• Design reliable and scalable automation architectures
• Optimize workflows for performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Reduce manual tasks by identifying opportunities for automation across business processes
• Maintain documentation for automation systems and workflows

Collaboration & Project Execution

• Work closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into automation solutions
• Test, monitor, and continuously improve automation systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation failures or system issues

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with workflow automation platforms such as:
• n8n
• Make (Integromat)
• Zapier or similar tools
• Solid understanding of API integrations and webhooks
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON data structures
• Ability to design complex automation logic and workflows
• Experience integrating CRM systems, marketing platforms, and SaaS applications
• Strong problem-solving and system architecture skills
• Experience with data mapping, transformation, and automation pipelines
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex integrations
• Strong communication skills and ability to document automation systems
