Coordinate People and Processes That Power Historic Restoration
The Tradesmen Group LLC (TTG) is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Workforce Administrator to support both field and office operations. This full-time role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates clearly, and enjoys managing logistics and personnel coordination. You’ll be involved in recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and HR/payroll support, working closely with senior leadership.

TTG is a 100% employee-owned, nationally recognized construction firm specializing in the restoration of historically significant buildings across the eastern U.S. Headquartered in Plain City, Ohio, with offices in Washington, D.C., and Nashville, TN, TTG is committed to craftsmanship, integrity, and preserving architectural heritage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and manage job postings in collaboration with project and office teams
  • Publish openings on job boards and monitor applicant responses
  • Screen resumes and forward qualified candidates to leadership
  • Facilitate onboarding, ensuring all documentation is complete
  • Conduct background checks and MVR screenings
  • Coordinate with payroll for accurate new hire processing
  • Track employee assignments and communicate placements
  • Manage housing logistics, including lease renewals and rent/utility coordination
  • Report housing issues to leadership promptly
  • Participate in weekly project huddles to share staffing and housing updates
  • Attend weekly HR meetings to report on hiring, terminations, and staffing needs
  • Track field training and certifications, including OSHA compliance
  • Assist with planning and executing annual company events

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in workforce administration or similar role
  • Construction industry experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with job posting platforms, especially Indeed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Office365)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
