Job Purpose:

  • Supporting the design, implementation, and monitoring of workforce planning activities across corporate and project functions.
  • The role will focus on headcount planning, resource allocation, workload assessments, and staff budget control to ensure optimal workforce utilization and alignment with organizational priorities.


Job Responsibilities:


Workforce Planning

  • Support the development and execution of workforce planning methodologies and frameworks.
  • Contribute to headcount ramp-up and ramp-down plans for projects based on scope, timelines, and workload.
  • Conduct workload analysis exercises to assess manpower requirements and optimize allocation.
  • Analyze activities, roles, and functions to recommend the required Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs).
  • Provide insights to ensure workforce capacity matches business demands.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring staff budgets, including manpower cost analysis and variance reporting.
  • Track approved vs. actual headcount and support corrective actions where required.
  • Support Finance and HR in validating workforce-related cost assumptions.
  • Maintain workforce dashboards and reports for senior management.
  • Provide evidence-based workforce insights to support decision-making.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of workforce data across systems and reports.
  • Support adherence to workforce planning policies, standards, and approval processes.
  • Assist in developing templates, models, and tools that enhance workforce planning accuracy.


Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports

  • Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards.


Safety, Quality & Environment

  • Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.


Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department’s systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.



Job Requirements:


Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or any related field
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar position

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate workforce insights clearly to stakeholders.
  • Business and financial acumen related to manpower costs.

  • Ability to build workforce models and conduct scenario planning.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.


Job Context

  • Role will primarily be based in RSG HQ.
