Job Title: Workshop & Maintenance Coordinator – Waste Management Fleet

Location: UAE

We are seeking a Workshop & Maintenance Coordinator to support the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities for waste collection vehicles, equipment, and tools . The ideal candidate will have experience in fleet maintenance and workshop operations , ensuring timely repairs, compliance with safety standards, and smooth communication between technicians, supervisors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily, preventive, and urgent maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure fleet readiness.
• Maintain accurate job cards, work orders, and equipment history records using ERP/business systems.
• Liaise with stores and procurement teams to manage spare parts, requisitions, and vendor follow-ups.
• Track warranty claims and coordinate with OEMs, dealers, and service providers for cost-effective repairs.
• Serve as the central point of contact between technicians, supervisors, and operations teams.
• Monitor technician attendance, leave, training, and compliance with HSE requirements.
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance with municipal and organizational policies.
• Promote workshop safety, 5S practices, and a culture of operational efficiency.
• Contribute to KPI monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience in fleet maintenance, workshop coordination, or technical operations, preferably in waste management, utilities, or transportation.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and workshop operations.
• Knowledge of ERP/business systems for maintenance documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with HSE compliance, workshop safety, and vendor/warranty management.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
