Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily workshop operations and lead teams of welders, fitters, fabricators, and riggers.
- Assign tasks and monitor work progress to ensure jobs are completed on time and according to project requirements.
- Ensure fabrication, welding, mechanical fitting, and assembly work follow engineering drawings and fabrication isometrics.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to workshop teams.
- Coordinate rigging and lifting activities for safe handling of materials and equipment.
- Monitor the quality of welding, fabrication, and mechanical work according to industry standards.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools, welding machines, and equipment.
- Maintain discipline, productivity, and teamwork among workshop staff.
- Enforce HSE policies, PPE usage, and safe working practices in the workshop.
- Coordinate with management, engineers, and project teams to meet production targets and project deadlines.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in technical field.
- 5–10 years of experience in a mechanical fabrication workshop, preferably in the Oil & Gas or EPCC sector.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Welding processes (MIG / TIG / SMAW)
- Metal fabrication and structural fabrication
- Pipe fabrication and mechanical assembly
- Workshop machinery and fabrication tools
- Ability to read engineering drawings and fabrication isometrics.
- Strong leadership, supervision, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
