Workshop Foreman / Workshop Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily workshop operations and lead teams of welders, fitters, fabricators, and riggers.
  • Assign tasks and monitor work progress to ensure jobs are completed on time and according to project requirements.
  • Ensure fabrication, welding, mechanical fitting, and assembly work follow engineering drawings and fabrication isometrics.
  • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to workshop teams.
  • Coordinate rigging and lifting activities for safe handling of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor the quality of welding, fabrication, and mechanical work according to industry standards.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools, welding machines, and equipment.
  • Maintain discipline, productivity, and teamwork among workshop staff.
  • Enforce HSE policies, PPE usage, and safe working practices in the workshop.
  • Coordinate with management, engineers, and project teams to meet production targets and project deadlines.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in technical field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in a mechanical fabrication workshop, preferably in the Oil & Gas or EPCC sector.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Welding processes (MIG / TIG / SMAW)
  • Metal fabrication and structural fabrication
  • Pipe fabrication and mechanical assembly
  • Workshop machinery and fabrication tools
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and fabrication isometrics.
  • Strong leadership, supervision, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
