Workshop Supervisor

Job Objective:

Oversee all maintenance and repair operations for cars and trucks in the workshop, ensuring efficient and high-quality execution of all tasks in compliance with approved safety and quality standards, while optimizing the use of resources and time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise workshop technicians and mechanics and organize daily workflow.
• Follow up on maintenance and repair work for cars and trucks to ensure quality execution.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and oversee repair processes.
• Plan daily work schedules and assign tasks based on priorities.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety procedures in the workshop.
• Monitor tools and equipment maintenance and ensure operational readiness.
• Inspect completed work before vehicle delivery to ensure quality standards.
• Prepare technical and administrative reports and submit them to management.
• Request and follow up on spare parts availability when needed.
• Train and guide new technicians and improve team performance.
• Coordinate with other departments (parts, operations, management) to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of practical experience in car and truck maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of engine systems and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Ability to solve problems and make quick decisions.
• Commitment to occupational health and safety standards.
