Duties

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep grass healthy and vibrant
• Maintain landscape features by planting, pruning, trimming trees, shrubs, and hedges with precision and care
• Operate hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, and lawn mowers efficiently and safely
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks like installing hardscape elements, irrigation systems, and garden beds
• Use excavators and other construction equipment for site preparation or minor landscaping projects
• Carry out snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure clear pathways and driveways
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience handling various hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and maintenance
• Strong background in lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance practices
• Familiarity with tree care including trimming, pruning, and health assessment techniques
• Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting for efficient water management
• Ability to perform snow plowing safely during winter conditions when needed
• Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to yard upkeep and safety protocols
