Job Summary:

The Yoga Intern will work closely with doctors and the clinical team to design, implement, and monitor therapeutic yoga protocols for patients. The intern will learn and apply evidence-based yoga modules, track patient progress, and gradually advance yoga sessions according to individual health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan therapeutic yoga protocols in discussion and coordination with the treating doctor.
• Assist in conducting personalized yoga sessions based on patient diagnosis and clinical goals.
• Monitor patient progress, response, and tolerance to yoga practices.
• Modify and advance yoga sessions gradually as per patient improvement and medical advice.
• Maintain proper session records, progress notes, and feedback reports.
• Learn therapeutic yoga approaches through structured modules and supervised training.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and correct posture alignment during sessions.
• Educate patients on breathing techniques, relaxation practices, and lifestyle awareness where appropriate.
• Follow clinic protocols, ethics, and confidentiality guidelines at all times.
• Participate in case discussions, reviews, and learning sessions conducted by senior doctors or therapists.

Required Qualifications:

• Background in Yoga (Certification/Diploma/Degree – pursuing or completed)
• Basic knowledge of anatomy and therapeutic yoga (preferred)
• Willingness to learn, observe, and apply under supervision
• Good communication and patient-handling skills
