School of Art and Design is currently seeking Camp Workshop Instructors for its Summer Art Camp for high-school students. Program will be held on ECU campus. Applicants should have prior experience in working with this age range. Camp running time is from Sunday, June 14th through Friday, June 19th, 2026. Instructors will develop lesson plans, deliver instruction, and supervise the classroom learning experience in a specific course for students in grades 9-12. Each course will run within a 5-day series of daily sessions for the duration of camp. Instructors may teach up to two sessions per day.
All Camp Instructors must complete Tedi Bear Training program prior to camp week to be eligible for this position in accordance with state law.
Minimum Education/Experience
High School Diploma and technical proficiency in photography, sculpture, graphic design, textile design, film/video production, or animation/interactive design.
Applicants should have prior experience working with high school students in grades 9-12.
