Key Responsibilities:

  • ** Food Preparation:** Independently prepare and cook dishes to order (e.g., proteins, vegetables, starches, sauces, garnishes).
  • ** Station Management:** Organize, stock, and maintain assigned cooking stations, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready.
  • ** Quality Control:** Adhere to recipes, portion sizes, seasonings, and presentation standards; monitor food temperatures and quality.
  • ** Order Execution:** Accurately read orders and deliver dishes efficiently, coordinating with service staff.
  • ** Hygiene & Safety:** Maintain cleanliness and follow all federal, state, and corporate sanitation guidelines (HACCP) for food handling and equipment.
  • ** Inventory & Ordering:** Rotate stock (FIFO), manage inventory levels, and generate orders for needed items.
  • ** Equipment Operation:** Safely operate various commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, slicers).
