Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Slicing, chopping, mixing ingredients; cooking items by baking, grilling, frying, steaming, or boiling.
- Recipe Adherence: Accurately following established recipes and portion sizes.
- Kitchen Operations: Setting up, cleaning, and organizing workstations; operating kitchen equipment.
- Food Safety: Ensuring proper food storage, handling, and sanitation to comply with health standards.
- Order Management: Taking orders, expediting multiple dishes, and ensuring correct plating and presentation.
- Inventory: Monitoring stock, rotating items, and reordering supplies.
- Teamwork: Assisting other cooks, communicating with staff, and resolving order issues.
