Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and chop fruits/vegetables; assist cooks with basic prep tasks like mixing or portioning.
  • Cleaning & Sanitation: Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and equipment; sanitize workstations, floors, and surfaces; take out trash; clean kitchen areas.
  • Stocking & Storage: Receive and store food deliveries; organize and restock ingredients and supplies; monitor inventory.
  • ** Kitchen Support:** Set tables, bus tables, pack takeout orders, and perform other duties as assigned by the chef or manager.

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • Food Safety Knowledge: Understanding and following health, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Work effectively with kitchen staff and follow instructions accurately.
  • Organization: Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked.
