Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Measuring, mixing, chopping, grilling, baking, frying, and assembling dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Kitchen Operations: Setting up and breaking down workstations, operating various kitchen equipment, and ensuring all tools are clean and ready.
- Quality & Safety: Checking ingredient freshness, ensuring proper food storage (temperature, labeling), and strictly following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines (HACCP).
- Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, rotating items, and informing supervisors about needed supplies.
- Teamwork: Assisting other cooks, expediting orders, and resolving customer order issues.
