Role Objective
The Academic Coordinator will provide academic leadership, instructional support, and operational oversight for the primary and middle sections. The role ensures high-quality teaching, student engagement, smooth curriculum delivery, and effective coordination among teachers while supporting the school’s broader academic vision and NEP 2020 goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesA. Academic Leadership
- Plan, implement, and review the curriculum in alignment with CBSE guidelines and the school’s philosophy.
- Drive lesson planning, differentiated instruction, and learning-outcome tracking across subjects.
- Lead teacher mentoring, peer observations, and professional development initiatives.
- Ensure effective assessment design — formative and summative — and guide teachers in analysing results for remedial or enrichment actions.
- Oversee academic data (exam results, attendance, progress reports) and generate insights for improvement.
- Facilitate integration of 21st-century skills and technology-enabled learning in classrooms.
- Maintain strong focus on literacy and numeracy, ensuring seamless academic progression across sections.
- Conduct periodic academic audits, class observations, and ensure adherence to academic standards.
B. Administrative and Operational Management
- Prepare academic calendar, timetables, and ensure coordination between subjects and classes.
- Liaise with the Principal, section coordinators, and subject heads to ensure smooth academic operations.
- Oversee teacher workload allocation, substitution management, and resource planning.
- Ensure all lesson plans, student records, assessment data, and report cards are maintained accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with admin, IT, and procurement for teaching aids, digital resources, and infrastructure requirements.
- Support the recruitment, induction, and appraisal of teachers.
- Plan and conduct PTMs, student orientations, and academic events such as quizzes, exhibitions, and Olympiads.
- Participate in budget planning for the academic section and monitor resource utilisation.
C. Strategic and Developmental Functions
- Lead implementation of NEP-2020 guidelines and CBSE innovations (experiential learning, competency-based assessment, art integration, etc.).
- Build a collaborative academic culture that promotes teacher autonomy with accountability.
- Initiate and monitor enrichment programmes, remedial sessions, and student-mentoring structures.
- Partner with the Principal in policy formulation, curriculum review, and school-improvement plans.
- Ensure academic continuity and alignment across all sections.
- Build parent-engagement initiatives — workshops, open houses, newsletters, and academic updates.
- Maintain a student-centric environment promoting emotional wellbeing, discipline, and holistic development.
- Represent the school in external academic inspections, workshops, or CBSE audits.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in education or a relevant subject area with B.Ed./M.Ed. mandatory.
- Minimum 8–12 years of teaching experience, including 3–5 years in an academic leadership, coordination, or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum, NEP-2020 implementation, and effective pedagogical strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational abilities.
- Proficiency in data-driven academic management and digital teaching tools.

- Full-time, on-campus position (Monday–Saturday or as per school schedule).

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
