Account Manager

Job Description

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for achieving business targets through sales development and field marketing programs for the PerkinElmer Sağlık ve Çevre Bilimleri LTD. ŞTİ. reagent portfolio across Ankara region.

Key responsibilities:

• Competes for all reagent and multimode detection and imaging sales opportunities throughout the territory
• Builds and maintains strong customer relationships
• Constantly attempts to secure business in new accounts and follows customer account receivables
• Develops and maintains the salesforce.com customer/prospect records and produces regular business forecasts
• Attends seminars, exhibitions, and demonstrations to promote business
• Maintains knowledge of PerkinElmer products, as well as knowledge of competitors’ products, prepares, documents and updates PerkinElmer presentation aids accordingly

Your profile:

• HBO or master’s degree in science, preferably biology and or cell biology
• 3-4 years’ experience in a sales role, preferably within life sciences, within a matrix organization (desired)
• Energetic, independent, with excellent organizational and team working skills, driving you to continuously seek new opportunities
• Flexible, able to communicate with colleagues and customers, willingness to travel across Turkey and occasionally across boarders
• Desire to learn, grow and take the lead in a sales role within a fast-paced matrix organization
• Fluent in both written and spoken Turkish and English.
