Account Manager For Cold Storage

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting and financial activities related to warehouse and cold storage operations.
• Take full responsibility for all finance-related activities within the department.
• Record daily transactions including expenses, and inventory movements.
• Reconcile warehouse inventory with accounting records to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
• Monitor and control costs, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for invoice verification, payment processing, and stock audits.
• Ensure all financial records comply with UAE VAT regulations and company policies.
• Assist in internal and external audits as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial and inventory records.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting and cost control.
• Familiarity with UAE accounting standards and VAT requirements.

Preferred:

• Experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g., Tally, ______________).
• Knowledge of cold chain operations and logistics processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare reconciliations and financial statements independently.
