Account Specialist

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts & Bookkeeping Executive with around 5 years of professional experience in managing company accounts and administrative tasks independently. The ideal candidate should be self-driven, highly organized, and capable of handling end-to-end bookkeeping and general office administration with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations including data entry, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
  • Maintain compliance with local tax laws and assist with tax filings (sales tax, income tax, etc.).
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all financial data.
  • Manage office correspondence, filing systems, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for smooth office operations.
  • Oversee office supplies inventory and procurement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/CA Inter preferred but not mandatory).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative support.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
