Accountant

Job Summary:
ABC Group Qatar is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, accuracy, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. You will play a key role in supporting the financial health and strategic goals of the organization.

Accountant
Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial management.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
• Monitor cash flow and support treasury activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT filings and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or improvement opportunities.
• Maintain organized documentation and support internal financial controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., IFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or similar).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
