About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, handle day-to-day accounting operations, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work accurately under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in preparing tax returns.
• Monitor company expenses, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Assist in preparing audit reports and coordinate with external auditors.
• Process payroll and maintain employee financial records (if applicable).
• Generate management reports to support decision-making.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
• Support management with financial insights for business planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or ACCA/CA/ICMA preferred).
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, ERP, or similar).
• Excellent MS Excel and MS Office skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
