Accountant

Beyond Crimson is a hybrid marketing and advertising agency with an in-house production team. We work across brand strategy, digital marketing, content creation, and full-scale campaign execution. Our clients include monthly retainer brands and project-based businesses, offering a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial activities, ensure compliance with tax regulations (including GST), and maintain accurate records for both retainer clients and campaign-based projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file GST returns on a timely basis
• Generate invoices for clients and track receivables
• Maintain records of monthly recurring expenses for retainer clients
• Track project-specific campaign costs and prepare profit vs. expense reports
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and assist with reconciliations
• Collaborate with operations and client servicing teams for budget and billing coordination
• Ensure documentation and records are organized for audit and compliance purposes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
• Proficiency in Tally, Excel, or any modern accounting software
• Knowledge of Indian GST and tax filing processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts

Preferred

• Experience working in or with marketing/advertising agencies
• Familiarity with project-based accounting or campaign budgeting
