Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file GST returns and ensure compliance with statutory timelines.
- Handle TDS deduction, payment, and return filing as per government regulations.
- Record and manage sales invoices and purchase entries accurately.
- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain proper cash/bank books.
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support in finalization of accounts and preparation of the Balance Sheet.
- Maintain accounting records, vouchers, and supporting documents for audits.
- Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal teams for accounting-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP/Excel).
- Good understanding of Balance Sheet preparation and financial reporting.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (M.Com preferred).
- 2–4 years of accounting experience.
