Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for performing a wide range of accounting and financial tasks to support the company’s operations. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, proper documentation of transactions, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions accurately and timely.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure proper accounting and reporting.
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist in audit preparations.
• Handle bank reconciliations, expense reports, and petty cash management.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives within the Finance Department.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a construction or manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP / IFRS and local tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
