Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, and maintain financial records and reports.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a relevant financial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
