About the Role:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support business decision-making through accurate reporting. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, proficiency with financial systems, and the ability to reconcile accounts, prepare reports, and maintain clean documentation. You’ll play a critical role in safeguarding financial integrity and supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure cash flow accuracy
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
• Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization
• Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership review

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or equivalent certification
• Experience with eCommerce or SaaS business models
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Exposure to international accounting standards and multi-currency reporting
