Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliation. This role requires accuracy, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Assist with audits and tax filings
• Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend corrective action

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• CPA designation (preferred but not required)
