Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting overall financial operations. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank statements.

• Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

• Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, VAT filing, and financial policies.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and financial reviews.

• Monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.

• Handle payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and expense tracking.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations for cost reduction and process improvements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• accounting/finance: 2 years (Preferred)
