Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and oversee accounting activities including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, leadership experience, and extensive knowledge of accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations
• Handle Accounts Receivable: monitor customer invoices, collections, and overdue accounts
• Handle Accounts Payable: process supplier invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations
• Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations regularly
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and financial policies
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Coordinate with auditors and prepare audit documentation
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of VAT filing, UAE tax regulations, and accounting standards
• Experience with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Reconciliations
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, ERP systems)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
