Accountant

Overview
We are looking for an Accounts and Tax Executive with relevant experience in accounting and taxation. Candidates with prior tax firm experience will be preferred, as the role involves managing tax and accounting tasks for multiple companies across different industries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and business tax returns, including monthly sales tax returns and payroll withholding taxes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax law and regulations.
• Perform day-to-day accounting activities and assist in budget preparation.
• Apply basic accounting principles to maintain accurate financial records.
• Work independently while ensuring timely and professional service to clients.
• Utilize MS Office tools, particularly Excel, for financial reporting and analysis.
• Work with QuickBooks Online to manage accounting records.

Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and clients simultaneously.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a tax or accounting firm.
• QuickBooks Online certification.
• Experience handling multiple client accounts across different industries.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and budgeting processes.
