About Us

One and Only Collective Inc. is a fast-growing fashion brand operating across both eCommerce and wholesale channels, with operations in the US and Australia. We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Accountant who can take ownership of the full accounting cycle in our US business. This role requires strong independence, accountability, and coordination with both local and international teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full-Cycle Accounting (Independent Month-End Close)

• Independently manage the entire month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for the US entity.
• Collaborate with the AU head office to meet consolidated group reporting timelines.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable (AR/AP)

• Handle all AR/AP functions including customer invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
• Maintain up-to-date aging reports and proactively manage cash inflows and outflows.

3. Cash Flow Management

• Monitor daily cash positions and prepare regular cash flow forecasts.
• Ensure funds are available for operational needs, including payroll and vendor obligations.
• Process bank reconciliations and wire payments.

4. Inventory & Cost Management

• Partner with the Warehouse Manager to ensure inventory accuracy and alignment between physical and system records.
• Reconcile inventory balances monthly and resolve discrepancies.
• Track landed costs and ensure proper inventory valuation and COGS recording.

5. Cross-Team & Global Coordination

• Serve as the key finance point of contact for the US office.
• Coordinate with internal teams and AU-based Accounting Manager for financial reporting, audits, and compliance needs.
• Assist in budgeting and operational planning efforts.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, preferably in fashion, retail, or consumer goods industries.

· Proven ability to own and execute month-end close independently.

· Solid understanding of inventory and cost accounting.

· Proficient in accounting and business systems such Shopify, FX5 and advanced Excel skills.

· Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and strong in cross-functional communication.

Nice to Have

• Experience in multi-channel retail/eCom and wholesale businesses.
• Familiarity with Shopify, FX5, PeopleVox.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,859.00 - $90,000.00 per year
