Accountant

Al Asayel Health & Safety FZE is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to support our finance team with daily accounting operations, reporting, and compliance tasks.

The ideal candidate should have solid accounting experience in the UAE, a clear understanding of VAT regulations, and the ability to manage financial records accurately. Candidates who demonstrate exceptional performance and hold professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, or Chartered Accountant).

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Handle data entry, invoicing, and accounts receivable/payable.
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts regularly.
• Monitor financial details to ensure compliance with legal requirements such as VAT filings, JAFZA submissions, and other regulatory obligations.
• Support monthly and annual closing processes.
• Conduct budgeting and forecasting exercises to support business planning.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making.
• Liaise and follow up with banks regarding existing and new financial operations.
• Maintain organized records and assist in audit preparation.
• Perform general administrative and reporting support for the finance department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory).
• CPA / ACCA / Chartered Accountant certification (mandatory)
• 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Prior experience handling accounts for a similar type of company is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, financial reporting, and local compliance standards.
• Proficiency in SAP Business One (SAP B1) or other accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
